Hey everyone,
I just wanted to do a quick survey of the situation here.
Is anyone else still having issues with compilations of their apps?
Sorry about the downtime yesterday; our servers stopped processing the queue early Sunday morning (GMT -8) hence the major back log of pending apps.
We're taking measure to make sure we can handle this situation better. Hopefully by the end of this month we'll have a dedicated service response team to handle issues that occur while we're busy getting our beauty sleep.
Also, hopefully in the next coming weeks, we'll be able to get our much needed status page; that way you're not left in the dark when there is an outage.

Is build process still stuck/backed up? Of course this usually happens when I need to build the app to show it at a client meeting ; )
Any status greatly appreciated as I twittle my thumbs -

2Hey everyone,
Sorry that you had to wait. We've found the issue, have resolved it, and now are just playing the waiting game with builds getting caught up.
Most apps have been compiled however we are waiting for them to be processed as "complete".
I'll keep you updated on the status.

Yes, definitely! I think the team and you guys have had enough of the limbo game.

Glad to hear that :-)
Thanks again -

Started a build about 15 minutes ago and still seems to be lagging. I understand that the builds are still possibly catching up, but I wanted to chip in to document the timing.

This seems to happen all too often. Losing faith in Phone gap as a whole.

Question: is this related to capacity of simultaneous builds? In case, would it be possible for users of the service to disable those platforms that is not (immediately) wanted? For my builds, only iOS and Android is of interest, so I feel I am wasting capacity with the 4 other. But maybe that is not related, just a comment from my side.

I really like this idea. Even if it is not related to what's going on now. Why sholud we use resources we don't need?

Hey thanks for the feedback :)
Currently, all platforms are independent of one another. A single platform's build does not rely on the completion of another platform's build.
The currently are working on the following:
A.) Better monitoring
B.) Auto scaling for when we're over capacity
C.) A status page for users highlighting our service status.
D.) Someone to watch for issues such as this when we're asleep. Our team is all -8 GMT. We're in the process of getting an Adobe team who monitors these kinds of things.
The alternative is a air raid siren for when I'm asleep however I don't think that's going to solve anything.... It's probably just going to make me grumpy :P

iOS build fails: "Oh geez. Your build failed. Sorry, but a problem occurred on the build server "
Android build... pending for about 15 min now!
:/-
My iOS build had similar issues - It did manage to build once I disabled hydration and debugging. See http://community.phonegap.com/nitobi/topics/getting_build_error_for_ios

@Intelliscape what's you application id?

Mine have been pending for at least 20 minutes now. I agree with Terje's point about multiple builds. It seems like if I could just build for the one platform I'm interested in at the moment, that could save all the resources currently being used for builds that no one will ever look at.

There were 3000+ jobs pending when I woke up this morning, we currently have ~1000 more jobs to process.
I'll updating this thread on the progress.
